R&S hosts over 30 food and artisan vendors every festival season — filling our main stage hub & beach stage, our vendors help build the heart of our festival.
Submissions are open for R&S 2024.
If you have any further inquiries or need more information, please don’t hesitate to drop us an email at info@riverandsky.ca.
We have a wide range of vendor spaces available! Our vendor spaces surround our main stage area and help make up the heart of our festival grounds. From structured spaces to room for your food truck, we have the space for you to bring your business to R&S!
We provide our artisan vendors with a 10×10 space in our main stage area. Artisan vendors are not permitted to run generators at R&S, and need to provide their own lighting via battery powered lights. Vendors are also expected to provide their own 10×10 tents and tables.
Unlike our artisan vendors, our food vendor spaces have a lot of variation. We have a number of structured spaces available, as well as open spaces for food trucks and trailers. Below you can find more details on our structured spaces.
Our coffee shack area is a covered space equipped with a sink. Vendors in this space are encouraged to supply their own power via generators.
Additional tables, food prep equipment and tent coverage should be provided by vendor.
Vendor hours change depending on the type of vendor you are. Generally, folks are asked to remain open during certain festival hours; this can be adjusted on a case-by-case basis. More information on hours is found in the vendor contract.
Food Vendor Fee:
Generally $525 to $800+ HST — depending on area taken up. This will be discussed with you prior to anything. A non-refundable $150 deposit is due upon acceptance of your application, to reserve your space. R&S will issue an invoice for the remainder + taxes post-festival.
Craft Vendor Fee:
$200 + HST vendor fee for a 10×10 space. A non-refundable $75 deposit fee is due upon acceptance of your application to reserve your space. R&S will issue an invoice for the remainder + taxes post-festival.
Food vendors must submit a Community Events Application to the North Bay Parry Sound Health Unit in a timely fashion, by approved by them and take part in an inspection at the start of the festival. R&S expects a Certificate of Insurance with liability coverage, listing River & Sky Arts in the Woods Inc. as Additional Insured. Proof of coverage for operating at our venue (3636b Hwy 539, Field, ON, P0H 1M0).
Artisan Vendors and their products are not covered; We urge you to purchase insurance at your own discretion, or you can choose to attend without insurance.
We are open to all different kinds of vendors — if you think you are a good fit for the festival but you’re unsure if you qualify, don’t hesitate to reach out to info@riverandsky.ca with any questions!
R&S is run completely on generators, we highly encourage vendors to provide their own power! If you would like us to provide you with power, that can be arranged at an additional cost. In that case, you would need to provide us with the specs of your power needs. Power requests will be assessed on a case-by-case basis!
There will be reserved parking for vendors along our service corridor, vendors will be given a vendor parking pass. Vehicles can be used during set up before the festival begins, and intermittently every day.
Staff for food vendors can be determined on a case-by-case basis. Crafters are allowed one additional staff member. If you wish to camp, each person will need to pay the camping fee set by the owners of our venue, Fisher’s Paradise.
Tent camping is included in every ticket! If you want to bring a trailer or camper van, you’ll need to purchase a trailer camping pass.
