PRE-FESTIVAL VOLUNTEER CREWS

Venue Crew

Help get Fishers’ festival-ready by prepping new campsites, clearing trails and doing all the little things that go into getting our venue ready.

Office Crew

From postering to general office work, Office Crew members take care of everything in Sudbury before the festival.

Set Up Crew

Come to Fishers’ early and help us set up before the Festival starts! You’ll help set up tents, stack wood, set up signage and help with anything that is needed to get the venue all set up.

FESTIVAL VOLUNTEER CREWS

Ecowarrior Crew

If you love mama earth and want to ensure that we take care of it during the festival, sign up to be an Ecowarrior! You will be responsible for keeping the venue clean throughout the festival and ensuring we return Fisher’s Paradise to its pristine pre-festival condition.

Gate Crew

We need friendly faces to welcome our festival-goers to the venue, help them sign in, and guide them to the load-in area where they are further directed. If you love helping people and want to help our guests have a smooth start to their festival experience, we want you on our team!

Merch Crew

The Hospitality Crew provides a welcoming and nourishing environment for artists. Ensuring that the artists’ needs are met is key to maintaining a great vibe at R&S. There will be a lot of behind-the-scenes work delivering meals and cleaning up afterwards. You will be appreciated and loved by some great people!

Artist Hospitality Crew

The Hospitality Crew provides a welcoming  environment for artists. Ensuring that the artists’ needs are met is key to maintaining a great vibe at R&S. There will be a lot of behind-the-scenes work delivering meals and cleaning up.

Instrument Lock Up Crew

This crew oversees the checking in/out of artist instruments and tech equipment. They are responsible for cataloguing checked items, labelling them appropriately, storing them safely and maintaining their security throughout the festival.

Parking/Loading Crew

Loaders are our heavy lifters. As an arrival’s second point of contact, Loaders are there to ease the load in process, guiding arrivals to where they need to go and assisting them as necessary. Parking Attendants are our TETRIS masters, directing cars to parking spaces while monitoring the parking lot for safety.

Runner Crew

Festival runners are the Superheros of the festival – swooping in to help us solve problems as they pop up. You might be asked to fill in when circumstances leave us short handed on certain crews or asked to help when unprecedented tasks arise.

Peer Support Crew

The Peer Support area is a safe and welcoming space for festival goers in distress. This may refer to someone under the influence of substances, in a state of panic/anxiety or simply needing a quiet space to calm themselves. Keeping in mind the importance of dignity, respect, and social inclusion, Peer Supporters are there to provide emotional, social or practical help to folks in need during the later hours of the night.

POST-VOLUNTEER CREWS

Tear Down Crew

Stick around after the festival and help us restore Fisher’s Paradise to its pristine pre-festival condition. FUN FACT: Help out with tear down and receive a full festival pass to R&S 2024!
