Helena Deland’s two latest singles, “There Are A Thousand” and “Perfect Weather For A Crime” from her upcoming album, Altogether Unaccompanied, are poetic, catchy, and undeniably magnetic. She debuted in 2016 with the Drawing Room EP, “a short release that demonstrated both her melodic pop and folk songwriting talent and her innate understanding of space and sound,” wrote Dazed Digital. She describes her music as “sincere pop” and her lyrics as unsent letters, with influences ranging from 1960s Parisian pop to indie folk to fuzz rock. On her way to River & Sky, she’s playing SXSE, a bunch of UK festivals, and Hillside.
